The God-spark is in us, though sometimes it is dim, hidden and buried under layers of defense. When we lift up that Divine essence in song, God sings through us, and we become healers for the world. It takes unself-conscious courage and faith to sing this way and let God come through us. But when we can get our egos out of the way, we are filled with Divine strength and beauty that will overflow into the world.
