We stand empty and open, before the great Mystery and admit how much we don’t know. There is a choice now: we can either tremble in fear and anxiety before that Mystery or we can lift ourselves up into reverent wonder. It is that place of emptiness that allows us to be filled with wisdom from on high. It is that radical amazement that lets us take the stance of endless curiosity.
