Our gratefulness opens the doors of our perception. In giving homage, we connect ourselves to the Divine presence. And when we feel that closeness to God, our eyes are open to miracle. Then we can tell the world about the miracles that have been revealed to us. Our sense of wonder is contagious.

This is a practice of trusting in God, a force that is always expanding us to our true breadth. That Divine force is increasing the sense of our own worth and showing us how we fit into the wholeness of life. In order to know who we really are we must heal some old wounds and undo some outgrown conditioning. That healing happens as God turns to us in comfort and consolation.

The pursuit of spiritual experience can sometimes become overly serious and can even feel like a struggle. This is a practice of remembering that it is through our JOY- that deepest brightest spark within us- that we can connect with the Divine Presence. When we receive a glimpse of that spark, it expands within us and becomes our radiance. So, we are reminded to bring our attention to moments of delight, and then to rejoice in the glimpses of Unity consciousness we receive in our JOY..

in accordance with Your abundant compassion

When we feel stuck; when we feel weary; when we don’t know where to turn for support, encouragement or inspiration… it is then that we turn to God the Great Mystery, whose face is both everywhere and also hidden. When we become vulnerable enough to show our own true face, then God’s face is revealed. It is then that we can receive Her great love and flowing compassion.

Life tests us, giving us challenges that send us to our deepest resource, which is the Source within. We are each called to find our strength, and to realize that our truest and most trustworthy strength is the power of God that is within us. In finding that strength, we are humbled, and connected to a power that is beyond the small separate self.
